Chrome doesn't use Adobe Reader to open pdf files. It has it's own pdf viewer. Perhaps you may want to ask in a Chrome support forum? What I can tell you is, you probably want to download them first. Chrome sucks at opening pdf files. In the case of pdf forms, it may not even work at all. Chrome forces me to save a file on my pc instead of just opening it (either in the browser or separately) I've looked for solutions and nothing seems to equate to what I'm experiencing. Its not bltadwin.ru, or jpgs, its many file types. I just don't like have to pick a save location because then I have a file to delete if I just wanted to view it. Acrobat is asking me to buy or activate when I want to use any of its features. After clicking activate it give me the option to used the subscription I have paid for when I select it tells me to log out and in again. I have logged out and in multiple times and have uninstalled and re installed but.

There are a few common reasons that could explain why your PDF is opening in a browser instead of a PDF reader. Some logical possibilities include that you don’t have a PDF reader or software downloaded or that your default settings on your PDF software might be set to a web browser. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software is the free, trusted standard for viewing, printing, signing, and annotating PDFs. It's the only PDF viewer that can open and interact with all types of PDF content – including forms and multimedia. Adobe Acrobat DC software is the complete PDF solution for working anywhere with your most important documents. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator, help desk resource, or Internet service provider (ISP). After you establish a stable Internet connection, try to download the file again. If the original attempt to download the file was interrupted, restart the download process within the web browser you were using.
